A call for hearts!

A call for crocheted, knitted or sewn hearts!

We have already received 28 little crocheted hearts (thank you Susan and Karen!) but we still need some more. The idea is that we make pairs of matching hearts, and give one to resident and send the matching one to their families, so that they have something of each other to hold onto during lockdown.

If you would like to make some hearts, we’d be very grateful. They need to be no bigger than palm sized, either crocheted or stitched out of clean cloth, and sealed in a plastic bag with the date clearly marked.

They can be left in the summer house in the grounds – please email us on sally.urwin@charlottestraker.org.uk or ring 01434 633 999 to let us know that they are there.

The photo shows our Senior Carer Karen Dover with some of our hearts, and a lovely card from Karen and Susan who made the hearts.

Thank you so much for your help!
