Care for the elderly in Northumberland.
We wanted to post about how amazing our staff have been over the last few weeks and to thank them all for going the extra mile in supporting our residents during the Covid pandemic.
There have been many members of staff carrying out kind deeds for residents quietly and without fuss, to comfort and to reassure that all is well.
As well as the “person-centred care” we give to each resident, staff have been going above and beyond their usual duties, and have been posting letters, bringing books, baking treats, bringing crafts to do and crosswords to complete, hairdressing services and nails, chatting and reassuring, bringing in flowers and plants, sitting outside with residents in nice weather and MUCH more to ensure that each lady or gentleman feels happy in themselves.
We don’t want to name individuals, in case we miss out someone that has been carrying out these tasks, but we do want each and every staff member to know that we appreciate your wonderful, dedicated care, and we are immensely grateful.
