Our Inspections : Care Quality Commission Inspection Report

CQC have been in touch having undertaken a tabletop exercise on 8 July 2021 and after examining this information, as well as our positive CQC Infection Control visit on 15 October 2020, they have decided that we do not need a further formal visit at this stage and have awarded us a continuing Overall Good rating with “Outstanding” for Well-Led . A link to the CQC report can be found at the bottom of this page.

Our Inspections: Northumberland County Council Monitoring Visits
Monitoring visits are organised by the Northumberland County Council Contracts Team. The last Northumberland County Council inspection was in 2019.
The inspection checks whether we comply with our contractual obligations with the County Council and assesses whether we are green (compliant), amber (in need of improvement) or red (non-compliant). At our last inspection the Charlotte Straker Project achieved 100% green throughout the whole report.
The report also included the comments “We found that staff were exceptionally caring. We observed kind, careful and thoughtful interactions between staff, residents and visitors. Staff were highly motivated and committed and spoke with pride about the importance of ensuring people’s needs were held at the forefront of everything they did. Residents, relatives and staff were able to give numerous examples about how staff went above and beyond to meet people’s needs.”

Our Annual Accounts
The Annual Accounts are presented to our AGM in September of each year and discussed and adopted by Trustees. These Accounts were audited by Robson Laidler Chartered Accountants.
