Charity Apple Pressing Days

Do you have apples you can donate to a new enterprise in aid of ourselves and the Corbridge Youth Initiative?

Please bring them down to Corbridge Cricket Club between 9am and 4pm on Saturday October 2 and Sunday October 3 where Community Apple Pressing Days are taking place.

The aim is to produce at least 1,500 cans of Corbridge Apple Juice sold in aid of the two village charities in a Corbridge Community Partnership project in association with Hadrian Border Brewery, who will provide cans of apple juice at cost price.

Volunteers are also welcome at the club over that weekend to help with washing, pulping and pressing the apples to produce juice. All necessary equipment will be available although additional presses would be useful if available. Volunteers may also be able to collect and pick apples within Corbridge in the week leading up to the weekend.
