Thank you to Kerri for her role as COVID Coordinator

Kerri was presented with a bouquet of flowers yesterday by our Registered Manager, Pam Crawley, as a small token of appreciation for her commitment, dedication and all round approach to her role.

Kerri, in her role as COVID coordinator and Infection Control Champion, has been pivotal to Charlotte Straker’s efforts in combating and heightening awareness of COVID -19 throughout the pandemic. Her responsibilities included delivering key training to staff and visitors alongside oversight of all aspects of the COVID strategy.

Pam Crawley, Registered Manager said “Kerri’s work in her role as COVID coordinator has been nothing short of fantastic. Kerri is so well thought of by all of the team, by residents and by relatives alike. Her reassuring presence, “can do” attitude, knowledge and skill are to be admired. Through the pandemic, where times have been extremely difficult, she worked with positivity, determination and resolve. Kerri’s presence will be missed from her COVID coordinator role, but as we now emerge from the pandemic however, we now move with confidence to managing COVID risk without the need to have this dedicated position. We are however, so very lucky to have Kerri within the Charlotte Straker team, where she now returns to her role as a Senior Care Assistant and as Infection Control Champion on night duty. I simply cannot thank Kerri enough for her support in all that she has done and continues to do.”
