  • Overseeing the charity’s financial risk-management process
  • Ensuring the charity’s bank accounts, mandates, investments & reserves are properly administered & managed
  • Board-level liaison with the external auditors as required in terms of their preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts
  • Overseeing and presenting annual financial budgets for board approval
  • Liaising with our Bookkeeper ensuring full accounting records are maintained.
  • Chairing the finance & governance committee which reports to Trustees
  • Advising on the financial implications of our strategic plan and initiatives
  • Review/amend relevant policies & procedures in accordance with governing bodies guidance/rules as required
  • Liaising/advising relevant members of staff on matters pertaining to the above
